This great knitting bag is made from a medium weight (6 - 7 ounce) twill fabric which is a tightly woven but flexible fabric. Best of all, it comes in a variety of contrasting color combinations and solid colors.

Our Hip Knit Sack is a bandolier style bag which is worn over your shoulder and across your chest. The Sack section is positioned on your hip (hence "one" of the reasons for the name).

On the bandolier portion, a small pouch with a Velcro style strip is designed to hold your iPod (or other MP3 player) or cell phone. This makes it convenient for your earphones to extend up to your ears WITHOUT interfering with your knitting.

The Sack portion is similar to our Knit Knack Sacks in terms of overall size, It does not contain the internal pockets and needle holders that our Knit Knack Sack II does, however. An elasticized band and a closure snap keep your knitting contained in this section of the Sack (different from the pictures on this webpage).

On the back of the Knit Knack Sack portion there is a zippered purse which includes an internal pocket.  Put your wallet and other valuables in this highly secure (and hidden) section. Incidentally, in terms of security, a bandolier style bag is always more secure than a plain shoulder bag. Plus when you see our webbing and buckle hardware, you will realize that this bag is very secure. Great for vacationing in tourist areas which may be prone to purse snatching.

A sturdy 1-1/2" cotton webbing belt with a quick disconnect side release buckle is fully adjustable for your height.
